As per the statement of Chief Engineer M&RE Jammu Sudhir Gupta, the Power supply to Jammu City which was affected due to snapping of Conductor near Salal on 29/06/2019, has been fully restored on Monday at 1.30 PM .
According to an earlier statement the Chief Engineer had informed the general public that there is a shortfall of 200 MW in Jammu due to which the power supply was to remain affected for two days.
The Power Grid in an earlier statement has informed the Chief Engineer, that the snapped conductor shall be repaired by 30th June, however the line could be restored at 1.30 PM today.
